LEVERS

The style of the Opentech® handles offers all our partners the opportunity to respond appropriately to the  expectations of the end customer in terms of looks.

AISI316 STEEL LEVERS

In iron-carbon alloy with percentages of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. Molybdenum increases resistance to chloride corrosion (seawater or anti-freeze salts) and therefore AISI316 levers are recommended for use in marine or highly corrosive environments.

AISI304 STEEL LEVERS

In iron-carbon alloy with percentages of nickel and chromium. Any traces of rust which may appear consist of airborne rust, which derives from external sources and not the material itself. Airborne rust is removed by rubbing the handle briskly with a soft cloth.

ZAMAK LEVERS

In zinc alloy with added aluminium, magnesium and copper. Zamak is particularly versatile for die-casting processes thanks to excellent pouring and hardness comparable to that of many cast irons and brasses.

ALUMINIUM LEVERS

In injection-moulded aluminium and magnesium alloy. These products are tough and lightweight with minimal dimensional tolerances and better surface finishes than other foundry processes.

SPECIAL LEVERS

On request, all Opentech® handles can be combined with special levers to solve the problems of doors or windows with awkward or problematical opening.

FIXED KNOBS

If necessary, the different handles are available in the version combined with a fixed knob used for entrance doors. There are three knob models available for this function: CLIO, LOFT KNOB and TONDO. TONDO, in AISI304 steel, is only used in combination with steel levers.
